Keith Mosley is a Firefighter Engineer for the Chattanooga, Tennessee, Fire Department, which he joined in 2014.  He has been assigned to Station 1 on Main Street in Chattanooga for the past two years, and prior to that, he worked at Quint 16 and Quint 6.

Keith’s family was all from the Cumberland Plateau -- Kentucky, Tennessee, and portions of northern Alabama and northwest Georgia -- but his father worked for General Motors and “went North with the cars.” Keith was born in Detroit, Michigan, but his heart was in the South. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Harding University in Arkansas, and later made his way to Chattanooga.

Keith joined A Soldier’s Journey Home in 2016 and has served on the board since 2018.  He says he initially volunteered because he wanted to “give back” but has stayed because he loves the work, and the volunteers who work with ASJH.

On build sites, Keith manages the day-to-day activities.  During the planning process, he serves as one of the construction coordinators.  He also serves as volunteer treasurer when needed.
