Eric's volunteer work began in a valley in Iowa where he met up with other First Responders from all over the country to build a chapel. Since that first build he has volunteered on projects in Arkansas, Georgia, North Dakota, New York, Oklahoma, Alabama, Tennessee, Illinois, as well as in his home state of Louisiana.
Eric has served the citizens of his home town of Slidell, Louisiana as a fire fighter for over 26 years. He worked to the rank of Captain while serving on Rescue 11. After close to 20 years in fire suppression, he transferred to the fire department's Training Division where he currently serves as a Training Officer. He is also a member of his department's Honor Guard.
Eric resides in Slidell with his two sons Logan and Blakely.
