Sal Cetrone - Vice President
Sal resides in Slidell, Louisiana and has been with the St. Bernard Parish fire department is Louisiana for over 18 years, where he was named fireman of the year in 2014. In addition to serving his local community as a captain, Sal ran his own framing company for 23 years before turning the reigns over to his talented son, Ricky. His construction management skills are invaluable to A Soldier's Journey Home.
Sal's passion for serving others in times of need started with Hurricane Katrina relief efforts in his home state. Working with other organizations, he participated in construction projects in several other states, including Arkansas, Georgia and Tennessee. His "pay it forward" attitude towards injured veterans comes from his father who served in the US Navy. He believes that we must help those who have sacrificed so much for our freedom.
Sal has been married to his wife Laura for 32 years and has two sons.
